The new meds made him real sick but he is doing a lot better now! Had to adjust to them. :D

Went to VA to have eye surgery but it was put off for 90 days.
Just did some tests on his eyes.
He was disappointed but felt good and that's all that matters!!

Went to GCC Wednesday, they got caught in a tornado warning,
the staff there made them all go into the room where x-rays,
MRI's, etc, are done. And Daddy 2 said NO! LOL!
Dr. told Mom to tell him to get in there or they'd pick him up
and carry him in there! rofl!
That man is a hoot! God Bless his sweet heart!

All is well so far with him! Will know more
when get test results from GCC! :D
PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Well, things aren't looking so good right now.
He went to GCC this past Wednesday. Chest x-rays were done,
then a catscan.
His results were, the tube in his right lung is completely
closed off from the cancer and the left lung has tumors in it.

He starts radiation treatments again Monday.

We have many questions for his doctor, and hopefully
we can find out what we want to know.

"What are we to expect now", is one question.
"Does this mean he'll not suffer being bedridden, or what?"
We don't know these answers to these questions, but are
going to try to find out.
Will update as I know more.

He started a chemo drip Monday and is doing pretty well
with it although he is staggery and tired a lot.

He also found out the eye surgery he had didn't work.
He's had glaucoma for years and with the cancer drugs making him
so tired, many nights he fell asleep forgetting to use his eye drops.
Now, he's almost blind in the left eye and will eventually
lose all sight in that eye.
But, other than that, he's doing pretty good and his spirits
were up some yesterday. :-)

The chemo drip caused more problems than he already had.
They decided to try another drip.
He's fallen down 5 times in the last week and is so staggery and
so weak, but will not give up doing things he loves to do.

It's so hard to watch someone you care about and love so much
in the shape he's in.
He is and always will be my Daddy2!

Daddy2, you know the Footprints in the Sand Poem on your main page?
Just remember, those footprints are God carrying you!
I wish you'd let us take care of you!
You took care of us, when we weren't your "blood" kin!
You love us like your own children!
You just don't know how much I love you and how much
I admire you for being the strong, kind, gentle man you are!
I love you Daddy2!
